We can all agree from the beginning of biblical accounts and that of creation, the importance of woman is to be valued. She is purposed as a partner, as a co-creator, as a mother, as a friend, as a gift, as a help mate, as a visual aid of Faith.
March has been declared as the month to celebrate the history of Women. The mosaic of her contributions to society from every spectrum ranging from the boardroom, sports room, music room, directors room, preaching room, classroom and the spaces she has affected and effected beyond the bedroom. What we fail to recognize is history exists in the now and its message is the filling of the pages of books. Facing depression, combating cancer, advocating for ourselves, our partners, our children, our communities, our families, our traditions and many more items on our plate has never been an excuse or reason for us to not continue in Faith moving towards promises and/or dreams nestled in our hearts. Herstory is salient because "SHE" raises awareness, children, compassion, mindsets, love, connection and ideals that assist in moving nations forward.
We may pause and massage our feet, if the opportunity to rest is not within sight. Stopping has never been a permanent option to consider for those walking in Faith. For the month of March, there will be a "Her Story Her Heels" guest contribution from women who share how they've traveled the roads of Faith in their own heels and in doing so they have achieved their own healing and/or have healed others👠👠👠
